In execution, I found the gameplay overly simplistic while also being extremely hand-holdy (which is a frustrating combo). Maybe if I played more than a few minutes it would really open up, but I was so bored by the starting level; that I really didn't feel like going further.. You might like if: You loved Episode One and want more!A stalwart follow-up. Nothing majorly new, but nothing taken away either. In many respects, this is simply a continuation of the previous game than an out-and-out sequel. Safely then, if you loved the former then there is little reason this one won't also hit the same, delicious sweet spots. Same interesting combat mechanics, same humour and same style.Only this time, you're now beating up lunatics, hat-spiders and rich folk. Balances out all that hobo-bashing you did last time...Though perhaps a bit grimmer than before, the new enemies are fun, the story continues to deliver and culminates in another epic boss finale. Though standalone, it's still better to play the original; for plot and for a neat unlockable that you can carry over.. I love trials games, and Trials 2: Second Edition was where it all started for me. I played this game for hours at a time, on a daily basis, for months. Endless, minimalistic fun, with plenty of achievements and leaderboards to compete for/with. If you're just getting started with Trials games, this is the perfect game for you.. Hey now this game is pretty cool. For $2 bucks you get a decent BMX simulator that works with your XBOX controller. Tons of tracks too!. The Maw is a short, fun, 3D platformer where you play as Frank. Frank is some weird alien creature that escapes a boring life or prison or whatever and comes into contact with the Maw, whom he is able to control. Together, Frank and the Maw fight through various levels as the Maw also eats different creatures, growing at various points. Enemies vary but it can feel repetitive. Then again, this game was designed for children and I'm 24. Anyway, it's been in my library for a long time and I figured I might as well play it having just finished a number of other longer games.7.0/10. no controller spport for an n64 game.. ;/. I gave it a fair amount of time but I really didn't enjoy myself with this one. It's not horrible but it isn't fantastic either. I just found myself wanting to play a different puzzle game instead.
